Your Child’s First Dental Visit at Pediatric Dentist West Cary

Dr. Arti and her pediatric dental office team in Cary NC  are dedicated to great dental experiences.

The first dental examination is recommended at the time of the eruption of first tooth and no later than 12 months of age.

Your first visit will be easy & FUN!

The first dental visit to our Cary Pediatric Dentistry involves discussion about the development of dentition, oral habits and counseling for caries prevention.  The early establishment of a dental home has the potential to provide more effective and less invasive dental treatment (which is less costly). Sooner a child is seen by the pediatric dentist in Cary, North Carolina the less treatment needs they are likely to have in future.

What should I bring on my first pediatric dentistry visit?

We request that you complete our “New Patient Forms” prior to arriving for your appointment. This helps you save time at the visit and keeps your and everyone else’s schedule on time. Please don't forget to bring your child's insurance card.

My child may be nervous. Can you help?

It is quite normal for children to be anxious about their visit to the dentist. Pediatric dentists have special training in behavior guidance and behavior modification that helps anxious children feel secure and comfortable during treatment. Also, pediatric dental offices are designed to make children feel comfortable. Our team enjoys and takes pride in working with children.

We have several children and scheduling is important to us.

Do you run on time, and will you see all my children at once?

Seeing siblings in one family at the same time is never a problem for our team.  We know that parents have busy schedules, and we do our best to stay on schedule at all times.
